This bowl, made of tall Japanese cherry birch wood, features irregular lines on the base that are unique to the potter's wheel technique. Characterized by the Tamenuri technique applied to the base and the deepest matte black that can be expressed with Japanese lacquer.
About 2 cm taller than a standard soup bowl, this item adds variety to dining tables that tend toward flatness.
As the name Raku-wan suggests, it can be used freely according to your wishes, rather than just as a soup bowl.
